How NOT to remediate a spill.

Q: Why should I have this safety system in my facility when I already use wet floor signage?
A: Our solution is a self contained “system” that offers a real time solution to assure a safe facility and removes the   hazard instead of neglecting the slip hazard with just a yellow sign.

Q: Am I still liable for a lawsuit if I have a yellow wet floor sign program implemented at my facility?
A: Yes! The best program to implement is slip prevention!  Placing signs and not addressing the cause is neglect, which is usually settled in court.  Most attorneys will conduct due diligence on behalf of an injured party to determine what solution could have been used besides what was used at the time of the accident.  Facilities must or should use the most current and proven solutions to remain legally responsible and not found negligent when litigation occurs.

Q: How much will a slip fall cost our facility when it occurs?
A: Average cost including attorney fee and cash settlement is around $30,000 per incident.

Q: What is the run time for the battery pack system for the Ultra-Dry system?  Is there battery maintenance required?
A: The Ultra-Dry system will run intermittently for a full 10 hour work shift.  The 18 volt battery pack is sealed and completely maintenance free for years of trouble free service.

Q: What is your Sur-Foot string mop for?
A: Our specialty wet floor mop is 100% Microfiber and designed for two reasons.  It absorbs more liquid from the floor and cleans the floor much better than regular commercial mops on the market today.  We do include one Sur-Foot mop sample with each Ultra-Dry system sold for you to try and experience the benefits for yourself.

Q: What is the difference between the Ultra-Dry and the fan operated cone?
A: The Ultra-Dry is a systematic solution that addresses the common slip fall hazard in real time.  The Ultra-Dry provides on board cleaning, debris removal and visual awareness to remediate a potentially dangerous flooring situation from becoming a legal matter.

Q: Where is this solution made and what types of facilities are candidates for this safety solution?
A: Made in the USA of the highest quality materials.  Ideal markets for the Ultra-Dry are airports, shopping malls, universities, hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, convention centers, grocery stores, gas stations, truck stops, convenience stores, and other facilities with exposure to patron foot traffic.

Q: What does the Ultra-Dry system cost to operate?
A: The Ultra-Dry system cost is only 98¢ per day!  The system has a five year life cycle.

Q: How does it work?  Is there a cord?
A: The Ultra-Dry system is battery operated and has a build in charger which is also waterproof.  There is an onboard dryer system that moves 1300 CFM of air quietly across 30 foot diameter of flooring to dry the surface in about 1 minute.  The ergonomic bucket wringer design is high profile in order to reduce back fatigue and injury.  The EZ tilt design eliminates the need to lift the bucket further preventing any user workman’s compensation claims associated with traditional methods.

Q: Does the dryer function and the flashing safety beacon operate independently?
A: Yes!  There are two separate toggle switches on the handle so you can run the dryer and/or the flashing beacon at the same time or independently.  Typically a spill remediation scenario would require you to run both at the same time until the floor is dry then turn off the dryer and leave the safety beacon flashing for visual effect and slip awareness.
